Total conference participants - 50 paid for by CIVIC + local + agency personnel

Training maximum - valerie suggests 35. Steve  - depends on the resources - computer lab? Do we have access to a lab?

JAM suggestion - we divide the group into 2, so we have 15-20 in each group and have each one do 1 day hands on tools in a computer lab and 1 day CIDA

Valerie to develop draft survey questions for group to comment on  by Monday PM

Survey to be developed (Stephane to translate into FR, and Felipe into ES) that covers the entire event.

Draft timetable for event:

Day 1-2 training

Day 3-4 Strategic Planning

Day 5 -- moderator training

 

Survey to include a free form text field for "other" where people can suggest other topics for training

 

Objectives:

  1. To review challenges affecting ICT for development in the Caribbean region
  2.  To identify the challenges facing CIVIC, and develop its capacity to address Caribbean ICT4 D challenges as in 1)
  3. To develop a draft framework for a 3 year  strategic plan for CIVIC (2009-2011)
